EP 66: Tony Taveras – Raising Rooftops and Revenue

What does bodybuilding have to do with the roofing and construction business? Tony Taveras is here to share the wisdom he has developed as a successful professional in both fields.

At just 21 years old, Tony Taveras left college to run a $10 million dollar store for LA Fitness. By 26, he was a Regional Vice President. Now, Tony is a managing partner at Linear Roofing, which he’s been doubling in size and revenue every year for the past five years. Somehow, he finds time to also hold the title of IFBB PRO LEAGUE professional bodybuilder and competes in men’s classic physique.

On this episode of Step It Up Entrepreneur, Tony and host Tomas Keenan unpack Tony’s wisdom and journey – from his family’s move off the streets to running multi-million dollar businesses, to Tony’s early success with LA Fitness, to raising rooftops by day, and bodybuilding by night. Favorite Quote:

There’s no shortage of success. People think that success is this limited resource, and they get jealous because someone else is being successful. But no, that just shows you the blueprint. You need to take a little bit of what they’re doing and make it your own.” ~ Tony Taveras
